Our bamboo inserts consist of 6 layers of a 70% bamboo/30% cotton blend and are used in Sunshine Tots nappies for absorbency. The inserts are absorbent enough to see your tot through up to 5 hours in the one nappy, if need be.

All Sunshine Tots nappies require an absorbent insert to place inside the nappy before wear. Each nappy you purchase includes one, but it is handy to have spares on hand in case of wet-weather and therefore slow drying times. Because bamboo is super absorbent, it does take longer to dry, though we've halved the drying time by creating an insert that is only 3 layers thick but double the length that you need. Once folded in half, the insert equals the 6 layers of absorbency.
